Since last night’s task was to be unplugged and to interact with our homes, I didn’t want to hop online to talk about it.
Part of my evening was spent having dinner with a friend, but once home, I made an effort to see my home differently than usual. I sat on the stool in my bedroom and on the side of the couch that I don’t favor and the chair I don’t sit in at my table.
I thought about what I saw, and realized that a lot of my clutter is more visible from those angles. Seeing things from an altered perspective helped me to see projects I want to undertake, and think about overall goals. Taking one thing at a time is all I can do, which makes the overwhelming project of tidying my home feel slightly more feasible.
