Little Epiphany

Hi guys! I went on a weekend trip and forgot to schedule a post, so please enjoy this belated post about a realization I had. I thought of something that I want to share as an encouragement to anyone reading this. If you’re disorganized, you’re not alone.

Maybe that feels obvious, especially if you’re living through my mess vicariously. What I realized as I searched for organizational tips (and there are many) is that there wouldn’t be so much material devoted to organization if so many people didn’t need it. Looking at organization advice has elicited a lot of responses in me: inspiration, aspiration, discouragement, frustration, and that’s just off the top of my head. What I haven’t seen is the forest for the trees. The plethora of advice that’s out there is there because there are so many of us struggling through the same thing.

How often do I visit friends, only to have them apologize for their “mess”? How many times do I do the same, or avoid having people over for that reason? We’re not alone.

I’m not alone & if you’re reading this, you aren’t either. I’m trying to figure out the best tips I can give from my experience, but for now, let’s just keep muddling through, trying to make our realities match our dreams as best we can.
